Day 237

Day 237... still trapped in the infirmary:

There is an argument about whether to continue a putsch to kill everyone...

Earl and Gronk voyage out and look for loyalists: Perceptions by -2...
They encounter some Spiderians who turn out to be cultists, and they find the Haunted King Harpsichord of Ooze Orbs

They kill the three​, and destroy the harpsichord

Olo temple: Willpower: +5...
Does Temple... sees the kids and the Hobbits at the Dam.
Counsels them to continue the religion

Boz guarding Lord Kellinor: +5...
Hears blathering about Black King desiring the Continent.

Earl shouts out that Lord Kellinor is getting better, we just need a few more days to heal him...

Back together at the infirmary

Then Earl got a major plot dump...

The Volcano was left in the Black Pool area of the Elven Kingdom

The chain is disabled, but the four guns all work, and the balloon was launched ... Never did find out what the weapon was in the basket

Day 229 - 236 unravelling

Lady Foerster is talking to Mother Berthel, the place is running out of food, and out of people.... Olo loses a word of his magic... this is getting bad.

Day 229: 

Olo tries to get better deal from dwarves +9

     Learns that dwarves will give them access to their yard, but don't try and set up any camp here.

Boz tries to find more maps of underground lands search +4

       map of underground lands and list of goblin cities

Isabel Scrounges +0

     Sees lady foerster talking to hobbits and making things happy between them.

Earl tries to get guards back  misses by 6

     Takes boards away from Spiderton entry, boards up the hole.

Entrances down to SPiderton are a) through the trapped sewer, b) through the dwarf tunnels

Day 229: 

Olo: checks in with Ma: +5 

    Hobbits plan to spread the word, Ma tells him to share his food with Earl

Boz: starting to get supplies for spelunking: asks for help from Foerster, crits the reaction roll again. 

Isabel: Helping helping perception +4

    Moss hunt: sees they are being tracked... finds a tracker: "Easy beatings" weedy little poindexter: Liam Martin is the tracker, sees that he has two hidden knives

Earl: Leaving and he knows it...  Tells lady foerster he intends to leave, she doesn't take it well 

Gronk: Get moss, miss by 1

   Moss hunt: succeeds

Big convo with Lady Foerster, trying to get them to stay. She agrees to let them go after a crit success from Olo, after they talk to Kellinor.

FINALLY they try to save Lord Killinor

THEN there is a big xplore of the vision from Lord Kellinor

THey find the king's shells are in Sulis

THen they try and grab Foerster, but she gets away and they are now going to be pursuing her through the spiderton tunnels.

FROM 230 -237 PLAN IS TO BARRICADE THEMSELVES INSIDE THE INFIRMARY....

  GRONK and EARL tell everyone to stay away from the great hall, and to trade with the dwarves for food

   OLO works with hobbits: +5 on the persuade

   BOZ guard Kellinor   +5 on the diagnose.

   EARL hunts.... for food...  SURVIVAL eats...

   GRONK wanders and looks for trouble, and talks to dwarves for food.  GRONK loses the dwarven link.  GRONK will lose 

  OLO temples...

ON DAY 236, OLO TRIES TO HEAL THE MIND OF LORD KELLINOR...

Day 223 - 228 Spiderton further deteriorates, and then TAIN

Day 223: more investigating!

They begin to see graffiti around SPiderton that hints that something bad is coming, and refers to Calum Kyle, and the Black King!  They figure out that the worship at SPiderton is not effective, because Lord Kellinor is going armed onto the temple

They hatch a plan!  They will build a covered temple through the spider cave to a set of goblin doors they have seen on the far side, and then escape through there to avoid this terrible terrible winter.

Winter is especially terrible

Day 224
Things get worse, the graffiti escalates to actual attacks against them.  Those cultists, who captured Lady Foerster and Lord Kellinor, they are CITIZENS of SPIDERTON! SPOOKY MUSIC.

They kill one, Braxton, and his Savage Scroll.

Day 225
Boz and Gronk tunnels
Earl, keeps guards on shift, even as people begin to sneak away from SPiderton in terror
OLo writes a religious tract (critted the roll)


Day 226, they finally must hunt!
Their hunting is interruped by a Keerdah attack, and they find that Jean Mocquais was turned, and then he was forced to drag Olo's hobbits out into the cold with him, while they fled his ravenous maw.
Upshot? The goblin king has the stone, is hunting the MoC and is allied with teh Black King against them.

Day 226-227, things GET WORSE!!
THey hunt, they build, they temple,
Lord Kellinor ails, SPiderton shrinks.. there are traps, there's graffiti, there's cultists... it's bad
THe tunnel to the Goblin Tunnels continues to proceed!  This could work!
Isabel gets trapped alone and has to fight a gelatinous cube!

Now we come to day 228:
Earl and ISabel meet  Sammy and Taggart, two barbarians who seem frienldly, but suspicious.
they elude them, and sneak back... or do they?

THe tunnel is done, and the group make their way into the goblin tunnels, but they're not goblin tunnels, they're DWARVEN tunnels!!!
They met 5 dwarven scouts, Theboum, Orizzag, Dwarholin, THrahasam, and Yukhunli, who agree to trade for food

But when they get back to SPiderton
THere's the barbarieans!!
Sammy and Taggart appear, and explain that Tain needs the Orb of the Black King.  THey rbuff them and they get two weeks... to think about what they've done. (until day 244)

Day 219 - 221 Spiderton gets worse

Isabel checks the cultist area and determines that the guy was a guard
Gronk finds the forge and the armoury
Isaebl talks with Edward about the elven king
Gronk finds out the hobbits are raising cows

KEllinor and Foerster up the security in the tunnels, and interrogate Lady Jax. Foerster discovers that someone has tampered with her memory A SHOCK!!!

That afternoon, the argument and unsettled mood spreads as arguments occur

That night, day 220? (did we lose a day?) the MoC plan their attack on the abandoned tunnel cultist complex.

Evening of 220, they explore, against orders, the cultist area.

They smash their way through a wall, and then gas orbs are dropped on them, Earl manages to catch one.

They flee back away from this.

Day 223: Isabel goes with Darius and they find a letter from Lady Jax where she explains her guilt and she has died!

THen, oH NO, Lady FOerster and Lord Kellinor are captured by the wicked bad cultists!  Who shall rescue them?

The MoC Kick their way through a basement in the abandoned village and drop into the tunnels of the cultists...

The tunnels are filled with shapers who control plants, they battle through there, and into a room where the room floods with water that then freezes to ice!  Then they get through that into a room (Where the water is coming from) and then they pass through there.

They find ANOTHER temple, and a set of barred doors.

They battle some cultists in a maze of plants, and find Lady Foerster and Lord Kellinor. Lady FOerster is relatively unhurt, but Lord Kellinor is in a bad way.

They head back to SPiderton to restore civilization

Day 217 - 218 Spiderton

Spiderton is filled with interesting sites:

The Crystal Chamber of Light, where sunlight is caught and refracted back along the 6 crystal arms of the caves.

The training cave where warriors train, run by Kellinor

The schools cave, run by Foerster

Lady Foerster runs two wings of the building

There are chemical storage areas, run by the hobbits

Medical areas; the short term ones are run by Kellinor, the longterm care is run by Lady Foerster

There is a large beautiful temple where they worship every day, and there is a "garden". Nothing grows there, but it's there.

The MoC descend to the Great Hall, where they meet Sir Kensil, Lord Kellinor's right-hand.  They tell him their story.

That night, Earl reports in with Lord Kellinor, Boz dives into Lore and meets Philip the Loresman, Olo explores the kitchens and meets a couple of dozen hobbits, run by Mother Berthel.
Isabel rests and finds a nice set of boots, and Gronk loses an arm wrestle to Harry! or is it HAIRY?

Kellinor wants to return to the surface and fortify it... that is his dream.

That night they sleep in the great hall, and Olo shares some Good Pipeweed with Reginard, and tells him about the new religion that he's forming.

The next day Boz sees guards setting up, and makes tea. Olo digs a fake temple and real temple, Isaebl and Gronk do weapons maintenance. Earl hears about the optimism for the future.

They have a discussion about what to do next.

Earl gets a magic shield

Boz uses Lum Mechanics on the food production,and Lady Meghan shows him how the light works, and his lum mechanics helps improve the light distribution.

Olo checks on Lady Jax's memory that he wiped

Isabel and Gronk scout

Earl looks for a secret door in the temple he trailed Lady Jax to, and kills a couple of Keerdah on the way back.

That afternoon, Isabel hunts, Gronk finds som clothers and gets to know Earl and Mother Berthel, and Boz tries to find more about crystal, and learns that the red crystal goes boom.

That night, they sit with Kellinor's men.

At night, Earl and Boz go to the old abandoned temple and find the release for the door.

They explore and there is a fight against gas-mask wearing cultists! They fight them and escape

They take this dsutrbing news to Kellinor and Foerster.
